Honors over time
Each point is one championship segment in calendar order within each year: indoor (winter), outdoor (spring), then cross country (fall)—then the next year's indoor, and so on. Compare up to 5 teams; use event filters to focus on a discipline (e.g. steeplechase). Year–season combinations that are not in the database yet (no honors loaded for that championship) are omitted so they are not shown as zero. Click a point on the line to open every honor at that championship for all compared teams (athlete, event, mark, place). The larger dot while hovering is clickable too.

Team place over time
Official team finish at each NCAA championship in your year range (same season order as above). Lower place is better. Team score (compiled points) appears in the tooltip when available. This series does not use event or First team only filters. Averages below are shown only when that line has a listed finish at every segment on the chart; otherwise the average is N/A. For indoor and outdoor track, click a point to see athletes whose top-eight finishes approximate team scoring (standard NCAA place points; relays grouped). Cross country points are not clickable yet (runner-level scoring not in the database).

Idea: cross country team scores
A future chart could plot team XC scores year by year (lower is better), with line breaks when a team had fewer than five finishers or did not compete—similar to NCAA scoring charts. That needs full meet results beyond All-Americans; not in the database yet.
